Directions from outside of Reading At the BP garage, bear right staying on A33. You will pass car showrooms on your right. Get in to the left hand lane and follow signs to Caversham. Go under the Railway Bridge. At the next roundabout take the first exit to Caversham. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit over the river signposted Caversham. Keep in the left hand lane. Immediately over the bridge turn left signposted Woodcote A4074. The road bends to the right and left. Go past a church. Approximately .2 of a mile after turning left there is a road called 'The Warren' on the left. It is easy to miss! You see a mirror on the right handside right opposite it. The Canoe Club is 500 yards on the left through the Blue Metal Gates. Parking is all the way down the outside. |
This is a great venue by the river in Caversham. It has a lovely wooden floor and a friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of free car parking outside the club. This is also where we hold our popular, monthly Tango dances.
